The ideal candidate is a highly organized, detail-oriented team player who will oversee the entire order process. You will review proposals, negotiate prices, select the best suppliers, analyze trends, follow up with placed orders, verify delivery, approve payment, and maintain necessary records. 

Responsibilities

• Initial preparation and issuance of Request for Quotations (RFQs) for a wide range of Steel and coating commodities
• Process modifications to terms and conditions of purchase agreements
• Perform commercial analysis on suppliers to develop more efficient processes and cost-effective solutions
• Oversees the transportation service from the Supplier and to the Customers
• Submit the purchase orders to coating suppliers.
• Management of expedited transportation (as required)
• Invoice processing (related to transportation)

Qualifications

 

Educational Background

• BSc/BA or Masters Degree in Logistics, Industrial Engineer, International Business

 

Work Experience:

• 2+ years working relevant experience on Purchasing area in the Automotive Industry.

 

Language Skills:

• Spanish- Business Fluent
• English - Business Fluent
• German - Hepful

 

Soft Skills:

• Structured working style
• Self-driven (ability to work independently)
• Good communication skills
• Strong personal accountability
• Strong negotiation skills

Professional Knowledge

• Professional knowledge of SAP.
• Professional Knowledge in steel and coating regulations.
• Professional Knowledge MS-Office applications (Word, Excel, Power Point relational databases and SAP.
• Knowledge about continuous improvement and supply chain KPIs.
