Sustainability is one of the most important topics of our time. It does not only mean a sustainable approach to our environment, but also to social issues and corporate governance. Recently, the pace towards a sustainable economy has accelerated significantly. Customers and regulators approach KAMAX with increasingly stronger sustainability requirements. Therefore, the Global Executive Board (GEB), consisting of CEO Jörg Steins, CFO Oliver Gantzert and COO Bernd Lechner, decided to be proactive instead of reactive. We want to address the sustainability topic in the form of a group-wide project steered by the Corporate Strategy & Development department. The project is currently being implemented by our four new trainees Mr. Raed Wasseghi, Ms. Barbara Clark, Mr. Johannes Schwalm and Mr. Felix Kratschmar who have taken the lead on the project. They are supported by sustainability expert Ms. Daniela Zingler, who works with the renowned Fraunhofer Society and advises KAMAX on sustainability matters. In January 2022 our new Manager Corporate Strategy & Development - Sustainability Mr. Sven Schindel will take over the lead on the project and drive KAMAX to be a leader in sustainability.
