Two is twice as nice: KAMAX opens the second production in China
The KAMAX Group has opened a new plant in Changzhou, China. The company is a leading supplier of high-strength fasteners for the mobility industry and also develops complex form parts, precision parts, and assemblies. The new building expands its production capacity and product range, creating further space for innovations with a new R&D center.
At the same time, the 40,000 square-meter plant is a pioneer in sustainability for the Group. Solar panels have been installed on the factory's roof. Depending on weather conditions, sunlight can cover more than 50 percent of the plant's energy requirements. The long-established company headquartered in Germany aims to be climate-neutral by 2037.
The new production will primarily focus on fasteners and precision parts for car engines, vehicle chassis, and wheel hubs. In contrast, the second KAMAX production in China, established for ten years, mainly manufactures truck components. A total of 24,000 tons more production capacity per year and 200 new jobs for the region are now available. Customers can, therefore, look forward to a broader range of products, faster delivery times, and greater technical expertise.
