Data collection
In general, you can visit our website without providing any information about yourself and without having to provide any personal data. However, certain anonymous data is processed each time you visit our website. This data is not personal and is therefore not subject to the legal regulations on the protection of personal data. The website operator only logs access data without personal reference, including the requesting host address (IP of the computer), the page from which you visit us, the name of the requested file as well as a description of the type of Internet browser used and the date and time of access. The data collected is used solely for statistical analysis and to improve the website. The website operator reserves the right to check the server log files retrospectively if there are concrete indications of unlawful use. Personal data is only collected if you provide it to us in the context of online enquiries to apply for a job, to contact us about job vacancies and/or to request information. Only information necessary to provide the requested service is collected. For job applications, we collect the information you provide during the application process. This includes, at a minimum, your name, the contact information you provide, and the personal information contained in your application documents. Temporary storage of the IP address is necessary in order to deliver the response to the user's computer in the case of online requests. For this purpose, the user's IP address must be stored for the duration of the session.
Purpose of the collection of personal data
We use the information you provide without your separate consent only to fulfill and process the purpose for which you provided the information. The provision of personal data may be required by law or contractual requirements (e.g. contract partner details). Sometimes it may be necessary for you to provide us with personal data in order to enter into a contract, which must then be processed by us. Failure to provide personal information would mean that the contract could not be concluded. Legal basis for the processing of personal data We process your personal data in accordance with the principles of the GDPR and other relevant data protection laws such as the BDSG. In particular, we comply with the following legal bases when processing personal data: If your consent is required for the processing of personal data, this will be done in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR. The processing of personal data necessary for the performance of a contract with you is carried out in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR. This also applies to processing operations that are necessary to carry out pre-contractual measures. Where the processing of personal data is necessary to comply with a legal obligation to which our company is subject, it will be carried out in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. c GDPR. Insofar as vital interests require the processing of personal data, this is done in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. d GDPR.
If none of the aforementioned legal bases apply, processing may be necessary to protect a legitimate interest of our company or a third party, unless the interests, fundamental rights and freedoms of the data subject outweigh the former interest. As a general rule, we assume a legitimate interest if the data subjects are already customers of our company or if the contact is made in connection with information about our company and/or our products. In these cases, the processing is carried out in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR.
Storage of personal data
The personal data you provide will be stored in KAMAX's IT systems in order to fulfill and process the purpose for which you have provided us with the data. Data may also be stored if KAMAX is obliged to do so by European or national legislation.

Once your request has been fully processed, your data will be restricted for further processing and deleted after expiry of the storage periods prescribed by law, unless you have expressly consented to the further use of your data or the further storage of your data is necessary for the conclusion or fulfillment of a contract.
