Tasks

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the execution of improvement and equipment installation projects in a manufacturing environment
  • Determine and define project scope and objectives
  • Predict resources needed to reach objectives and manage resources in an effective and efficient manner
  • Prepare budget based on scope of work and resource requirements and track project costs in order to meet budget
  • Develop and manage a project schedule and work plan
  • Provide project updates to company management about progress, budget status and necessary adjustments
  • Maintain contact with suppliers by communicating expected deliverables and tracking their progress toward those deliverables.
  • Utilize industry best practices, techniques, and standards throughout entire project execution
  • Measure project performance to identify areas for improvement
  • This position will report to the Industrial Engineering manager

Profile

Requirements:

  • Bachelor´s Degree in engineering, science, quality or similar discipline
  • Experience in project management systems and in the automotive or similar industry
  • Experience in manufacturing processes
  • Strong familiarity with project management software tools, methodologies, and best practices
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Proven ability to complete projects according to outlined scope, budget, and timeline
  • Technical/mechanical skills and ability to read engineering drawings
  • Experience with AutoCAD or similar design software.
  • Proficient in use of computer and common office software (Excel, Word and PowerPoint)
